Serenata Chamber Series is a chamber music series based in Nyack, New York, bringing extraordinary concerts to our community and beyond.

Founded in 2021, Serenata has built successful seasons spanning Renaissance and Baroque repertoire to present-day composers. Our world-class musicians have presented programs on period instruments, as well as beloved Classical and Romantic-era string quartet and trio repertoire—featuring composers like Dvořák, Schubert, and Beethoven—as well as all-Bach programs. Programs have also included solo recitals, 20th-century works, and a 2026 world premiere.

Performances take place at the Old Stone Meeting House in Upper Nyack and The Angel Nyack — along with other special venues along the Northeast Corridor.

The series has grown steadily since its founding — yet remains intimate by design, true to the nature of chamber music. Every season is curated with exceptional musicians and thoughtfully chosen programs.

Serenata is releasing its first recording: Serenata Solstice: Echoes of Light— a recording spanning nearly a thousand years of music, from chant and medieval song to new compositions — and will also be available on streaming platforms in late 2026.

Serenata Chamber Series is a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a nonprofit arts service organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and we're grateful for the support of our donors that makes this programming possible.
